Our Story
Toll Brothers is marketed as being “America's Luxury Home Builder,” which epitomizes the spirit of experience. However, the ACTUAL work being performed, is POLARIZINGLY opposite than what the Toll Brothers marketing videos, and their sales consultant advertise.
My wife and I contracted Lot #120 at 6930 Pond View Drive, Cumming, GA 30028; within the Southbrooke Community. Our home inspection evidenced a home fraught with poor workmanship, and a lack of supervision by its Construction Managers. For example, numerous photos unveil the construction crew’s failure to use any type of measuring system, literally installing boards shorter than their necessary length; being held in place only by a multitude of nails. The Master shower was constructed one foot smaller than planned, making it significantly smaller than intended. These are just some of the many issues identified throughout the home.
The overwhelming number of negative reviews from other Toll Brothers customers makes it clear that our experience was not unique. As a prospective buyer, your due diligence will reveal that these issues are both widespread and pervasive, also.
Reasonably, this raises legitimate concerns regarding the foundational knowledge of Toll Brothers construction crews, and whether they have the necessary education and certifications to build a home within local building codes and regulations; as that is crucial for safe and compliant construction.
Ultimately, the pictures provided from our home’s inspection display a polar opposite product than what the Toll Brothers marketing videos, and sales consultant advertise. Therefore, based on our experience and the evidence of others, we CAN NOT recommend buying a Toll Brothers home in good faith. Unfortunately, we were unaware of the fact that Toll Brothers has ESTABLISHED A PERVASIVE HISTORY OF POOR WORKMANSHIP, BEFORE contracting 6930 Pond View Drive, Cumming, GA 30028. As a result of the issues identified within our inspection report, we chose not to buy the home.
